Miltona is a city in Douglas County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 424 at the 2010 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.67 square miles (1.74 km), all of it land.
Minnesota State Highway 29 and County Highway 14 are two of the main routes in the community.
As of the census of 2010, there were 424 people, 165 households, and 112 families residing in the city. The population density was 632.8 inhabitants per square mile (244.3/km). There were 184 housing units at an average density of 274.6 per square mile (106.0/km). The racial makeup of the city was 99.3% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Native American, and 0.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.2% of the population.
There were 165 households of which 39.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.9% were married couples living together, 10.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 32.1% were non-families. 24.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 3.06.
